I have decided to name my album cover "Heart Throbs". I believe that this name compliments the band's quirky, bold vibe. The original heart throbs container means that there is already a link between the name and the sweets; this will favour my band as the name "Heart Throbs" will have previously held connotations of happiness and delight that Grinny Grandad could continue to promote.
My digipack will feature 3 equal panels 14cm x 12.5cm and two spines 0.5 x 12.5 cm in measurements totalling 57cm in length and 12.5 cm in width. In my plan I have indicated where my CD will be placed; this will be held in a plastic press container typically linked with original CD cases.

The spine of my digipack will include my band masthead, this would help with promotion of the case as the name of the band is more noticeable from a variety of angles. The front cover of the album will have an image of the Haribo Heart Throbs tub, however instead of the masthead being 'Haribo', it will be changed to 'Grinny Grandad'. I think the effect of having a label as the main image will act as a strong direct link with the band as it addresses the audience as to what the product is being bought. To continue this theme of offering a product as well as a music experience, I think I may split the back cover in half and make one side transparent so the CD is visible. This idea comes from the belief that if the consumer can see what they are being offered, it will make them more likely to purchase the item. Also the transparency of the album cover reflects the transparency of the Haribo Heart Throbs container. This transparency idea I believe is a unique one, however I will still need to incorporate the artists website, artists record label and label website, barcode and copyrights. These features appear across the majority of CD covers that are promoted in the contemporary music industry.
